Glitch datamosh animation style

Retro & internet · 16:9

Calm code-drawn scenes corrupted on the beat: RGB split, sliding slices, block displacement, pixel-sort streaks and a datamosh smear in a WebGL pass, then a clean snap back. Black/white base, one acid accent, mono + tearing heavy type.

Briefs we tested this kit with

  1. "Your data is not yours" (explainer, 20 s, 120 bpm): calm paper shot with the sentence "Your data is yours." tears into slices as a SYSTEM ERROR window types "3 trackers found, 41 requests"; a disc (the user) is datamoshed while it tries to cross the screen; snap back to "Unless you say so." with an acid underline.
  2. "The deploy that broke Friday" (dev story, 25 s): ink shots, a terminal-like window with a progress bar stuck at 87%, a big hit on every 4th beat, one inverted-slice flash when the build fails, snap back to a clean green check-mark drawn from lines.
  3. "Signal lost" (music-video loop, 15 s, 140 bpm): one word per bar in heavy type (hot-red variant), hits on every beat, datamosh of a sweeping bar field on the drop, clean silence frame before the last word reassembles.
