Briefs we tested this kit with

  1. "How sound becomes a picture" (30 s): sine wave builds in with the label "440 HZ"; the frequency doubles (two waves), folds into a 1:2 Lissajous; phase drifts until it collapses to a line; the line becomes the word "SOUND". Shots: wave, wave x2, figure, line, word.
  2. "What a byte looks like" (25 s): eight beam-drawn squares (0/1 as square or dot) row by row, they roll into a spinning cube labelled "8 BITS", the cube morphs to the number "255". Shots: bits, cube, number.
  3. "Why the sky is blue" (30 s, amber): a long wavelength (slow sine) and a short one (fast sine) side by side as one path; the short one scatters into a spiral; the spiral resolves into the word "BLUE". Shots: two waves, scatter, spiral, word.
