Pointillist dots animation style

Painterly · 16:9

Every scene painted from tens of thousands of small pure-colour dots: dots shimmer, migrate to form new scenes, shift colour with the light, and the camera pulls out from a single dot.

Briefs we tested this kit with

  1. A day at the sea (12 s): "Open on one orange dot, pull out to a harbour at nine in the morning with one sailboat; migrate to a park with a striped parasol at half past two; haystacks in late light; end on a lit lighthouse at dusk." (This is `templates/film.js`.)
  2. A short documentary about patience (15 s): shots: a sail close-up pushing in; a long pan along a meadow with three haystacks while shadows lengthen; the lighthouse lamp coming on with stars. Captions of 3-4 words ("Wait for the light").
  3. A product teaser (8 s): one new `defScene` painting a single object (a teacup, a bicycle) in the pigment palette, single-dot opener, a migration into a wide garden scene, closing caption with the product name in the cream band.
