Briefs we tested this kit with
- "The bank run, 1929 style": a newsreel in three reports (headline card → locked wide of a queue growing → card "Meanwhile, in the vault…" → an empty-vault gag with a spring double-take). Cold-blue tint after the card; iris close on the teller's empty drawer.
- "How the telephone ruined dinner": a one-reel melodrama: a family at table, a ring, the father crosses the room (undercranked), the near-miss with the receiver, a `tender` card, final iris on the cold soup.
- "A product launch, in 1924": a trick film for a coffee machine: one stage, the machine appears by a substitution cut, the chain in one take (cup → pipe → crowd), a `shout` card with the price, the film breaks on the last beat.
