Briefs we tested this kit with
- A day in a market (30 s). The page is blank except the date. The pen draws the stalls left to right; colour arrives only when the first customer lights the lamp over the fruit stall; a bell, steam from a coffee urn, pigeons. End: pull back to the page, the title written in the margin.
- A harbour in four times of day (40 s). One page, the ink never changes; morning wash, noon wash, dusk wash, night with one lit window. A boat crosses the page; the wash changes behind it as the camera follows on a lag.
- A recipe drawn from life (35 s). Each ingredient is sketched at the market in ink, then one splash of colour; the finished dish is painted last, steam drawn as three curls. Handwritten quantities in the margin (≥ 32 px).
